When you drive through Norway you see alot of beautiful nature. And then you spot this really odd house, situated on the most unavailable spot. A hermite must have lived here before the road passing it on the other side of the lake was built. It really didn't look like anybody lived there now.
This was a scene that begged to be photographed, so I yelled to the driver to stop and snapped a few quick ones.
To be honest, I was not completely happy about the results as I got back home to Sweden and I left it untouched since August. But now I finally got this shot out again and brought it back to life with a little help from our dear old friend Mr. Photoshop and his associates Mr. Curves and Sir Color Balance.
Now it more resemble the photograph I stored in my head than it did before. Hope you like it.
This one needs some sharpening I think.. If you've got photoshop, try filter > sharpen > unsharp mask and enter values 151, 1, 0, that should sharpen it up a bit for you. Oh, and while I'm at it, I'd take out that white border, or reduce the opacity of it to 20% or thereabouts, and replace the text with something -this size and style-, as it gives your frame a more professional look.
It's a wonderful shot still though, and beautiful colours. It's well composed, and the reflection is absolutely stunning!
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P

Just one thing, I didn't quite get what you mean by "-this size and style-".
And finally, thanks for the +fav.
What I meant was choose a font and fontsize like the one you see here in the comments
